Fabulous Fred Yates Painting for Sale. This is a classic Fred Yates painting from his period in France, hence his French title ‘Rue Animée’ (A busy street scene). This is a large and joyful painting of bustling colourful people and terraced houses. This painting has excellent provenance as it was originally sold at the Artcurial auction in France (March 2014), from Fred Yates’ Estate sale – Lot 139.
A great example of a large Fred Yates from his later painting period, partnered in a superbly chosen and impressive frame.
